Responsibilities:
- Assist and provide legal advice to clients.
- Coordinate programmes managed by the Bar Council Legal Aid Centre (Kuala Lumpur).
- Draft and prepare letters and reports, and maintain a good filing system of correspondence and records.
- Perform administrative work.
- Handle all other matters as directed by the management.
Qualification and Requirements:
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Law, or a law diploma and its equivalent.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; and good command of Bahasa Malaysia.
- Possess good advocacy, drafting, and research skills.
- Must have strong communication skills with a good ability to interface with all levels of people.
- Meticulous and thorough, enthusiastic, and possess excellent organisational skills and good working attitude.
- Able to produce detailed and accurate work under tight deadlines.
- Self-motivated, dedicated, and able to work independently in a challenging environment under minimum supervision, and yet be a team player.
