The resignation of Datuk Seri Ainum bte Mohd Saaid

The Bar Council regrets the decision of Datuk Seri Ainum bte Mohd Saaid to resign as Attorney-General. Although her tenure of service was comparatively short, she has served well in the Attorney-General's Chambers with integrity, fairness and resilience.
During her term of office, the Bar Council has enjoyed an improved relationship with the Chambers, a relationship essential to the workings of both the Bar Council and the Attorney-Chambers respectively and in the public interest.
The Bar Council takes this opportunity to wish Datuk Seri Ainum the best of health and a happy retirement.
