To the family & friends of Mr. Mahendran! I did not know him,but he, like the ship/s passing thro' the night would have touched many. He has moved in accordance to the wishes of the Divine! He is watching over his framily & friends! Om Shanthi Om! Godspeed!

A palpable sense of shock and despair quickly pervaded the corridors of the Johor Bahru courts on the morning of 5th September 2006 when news filtered through that a well known member of the Johor Bar RR Mahendran had passed away hours earlier of a heart attack at the age of 40.
He was an active litigator who carved a name for himself in criminal law especially in the field of habeas corpus applications.
He was a keen sportsman with an impressive golfing record in tournaments organised at Bar level and also played hockey for the Johor Bar. He also organised a futsal team among friends and fondly named it Liverpool Johor Bar after his beloved Reds of Anfield.
He shall be dearly missed by family and friends. RR, may your soul rest in peace.
