In Memoriam | Tan Sri Datuk Sri Jeyaratnam, Velupillai 22 Jul 2026 12:21 pm

It is with great sadness that we record that Tan Sri Datuk Sri Jeyaratnam, Velupillai, who was a partner of Messrs Jeyaratnam & Co in Ipoh, Perak, passed away on 4 June 2026.

Tan Sri Datuk Sri Jeyaratnam Velupillai was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1953, and was the most senior Member of the Malaysian Bar for the past several years.

The Malaysian Bar extends its heartfelt condolences and sympathies to his family members and loved ones.
