It is with great sadness that we record that Ravi Chandran A/L Subash Chandran, who was the sole proprietor at SC Ravi & Associates in Penang, passed away on 10 Dec 2025.
Ravi Chandran A/L Subash Chandran was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2003.
He was a sitting Council member and has served on the Bar Council since 2021.
He served the Penang Bar Committee as Chairman from 2021 to 2023, and as the Penang Bar Representative on the Bar Council from 2023 to 2025. He was the Chairperson of the Bar Council Legal Aid Centre (Penang) from 2015 to 2021.

The Malaysian Bar extends its heartfelt condolences and sympathies to his family members and loved ones.
Prayers will be held tomorrow, 11 Dec 2025, at his home at 27, Lintang Permai 4, Brown Garden, 11700 Gelugor, Penang, from 11:30 to 1:30 pm.
Cremation will take place at the Batu Gantong Chinese Crematorium, No 161, Jalan Batu Gantung, George Town, 10450 Penang.
