It is with great sadness that we record that Dato Dr Haji Yaacob bin Hussain Merican, who was a consultant of Messrs Salleh Abas Yaacob & Sofiah in Kelana Jaya, Selangor, passed away on 18 Aug 2023.
Dato Dr Haji Yaacob bin Hussain Merican was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1971. He was one of the most senior Members of the Malaysian Bar for the past several years.
The Malaysian Bar extends its heartfelt condolences and sympathies to his family members and loved ones.
