It is with great sadness that we record that Chu Hok Siong @ Chew Hock Siong, who was a partner of Messrs H S Chew & Co in Melaka, passed away on 31 July 2025.
Chu Hok Siong @ Chew Hock Siong was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1987. He was among the top 2% of the most senior Members of the Malaysian Bar for the past several years.
The Malaysian Bar extends its heartfelt condolences and sympathies to his family members and loved ones.
The wake will be held from today (1 Aug 2025) after 6:00 pm, to Sunday (3 Aug 2025), at the family residence at No 2, Jalan S3, Taman Suria, Bukit Katil, 75450 Melaka.
The funeral service will be held on 4 Aug 2025 (Monday) at 10:00 am, followed by cremation.
