It is with great sadness that we record that Cheong Kee Fong, who was a partner at Cheong Kee Fong & Co. in Kuala Lumpur, passed away on 26 Jan 2026.
Cheong Kee Fong was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1968, and was one of the most senior Members of the Malaysian Bar for the past several years.
He also served as the Deputy Chairperson of the Bar Council Corporate and Commercial Law Committee from 2007 to 2012; including serving as the Co-Deputy Chairperson of the committee from 2008 to 2009.
The Malaysian Bar extends its heartfelt condolences and sympathies to his family members and loved ones.
