It is with great sadness that we record that Sarah Maalini Abishegam, who was a legal assistant at Messrs Shafee & Co in Kuala Lumpur, passed away on 18 Aug 2026.
Sarah Maalini Abishegam was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2003.
The Malaysian Bar extends its heartfelt condolences and sympathies to her family members and loved ones.
Those who wish to pay their respects may do so today from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm at 69, Jalan Bunga Anggerik 2, Dataran Ukay, 68000 Ampang, Selangor.
The funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on 20 Aug 2026 (Thursday) at St Mary’s Cathedral, Jalan Raja, Kuala Lumpur, followed by the burial at Nirvana Christian Cemetery, Semenyih, Matthew Plot.
