Responsibilities:
(a) Handle work of committees focusing on specific areas of law or legal practice
(b) Conduct legal research relating to specific areas of law or legal practice
(c) Prepare minutes of meetings and reports, and carry out follow-up action
(d) Manage projects of committees, including planning, coordinating and meeting deadlines
(e) Handle work relating to expansion of business opportunities for Members of the Malaysian Bar
Requirements:
(a) Undergraduate degree in law (LLB)
(b) At least 2 years of legal experience
(c) Excellent command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Having an additional language such as Mandarin will be an added advantage
(d) Proficient in analytical and communication skills
(e) Well-organised, and able to multitask and to manage time efficiently
(f) Must exercise a high degree of independent judgment and initiative
(g) Self-motivated and dedicated, and able to work independently in a challenging environment with minimum supervision, yet be a team player
(h) High level of computer literacy, including proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications
(i) Excellent interpersonal skills
(j) Able to travel
