(1) The requirement that 7 days’ notice must be given before entering any
judgment in default as provided in Rule 56 of the Etiquette Rules applies
equally to any Subordinate Court action; notwithstanding that at the request of
the defendant’s Solicitor, the Court may have granted an extension of time.
(2) However, a further 7-days’ notice or a reminder is not necessary if an
extension of time had already been granted at the request of the Advocate and
Solicitor in receipt of the original 7-days’ notice.
