(1) Save with the prior written approval of the Bar Council, a master may not
have more than two pupils at any one time.
(2) A Pupil Master shall sign the ‘Particulars of Master’ form with the
requisite undertakings as in Appendix II, and must ensure that he/she has a
valid practising certificate throughout the period his/her pupil is chambering
with him/her and must notify both the pupil and the Bar Council should he/she
cease to be in possession of a valid practising certificate.
(3) A master shall not refuse to issue a Certificate of Diligence except for
reasons acceptable to the Bar Council.
