- Vote for the motion to oppose Bank Negara Malaysia’s proposed new scheme to cover third party bodily injury and death, which it has indicated will be finalised for implementation in the second half of 2010;
- Have your say on the (re-introduced) motion regarding scale fees laid down under the Solicitors’ Remuneration Order 2005 (SRO); - Discuss the motion calling the Bar Council to urge the Government to pay reasonable compensation to landowners affected by the erroneous decision in the Adorna Properties case; - Come hear views on the motion against the Advocates & Solicitors Disciplinary Board; - Give your opinion on the draft Combined Rules of Court; and - Make a difference! Members of the Bar are urged to make every effort to attend the 64th Annual General Meeting so that issues affecting the profession can be effectively discussed by as many Members as possible. Date :
