Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek said a lot of angry words before he left. Since those
are only angry words, then we don't need to take it seriously. We can just treat
it as his complaints. Otherwise, not only those words will damage his remaining
honour, but it will also mislead others.
Nevertheless, Chua should be cautious no matter how angry he is. After all, his
deeds are the warning and example for others. For example, Chua can advise the
future health minister not to be too industrious and not to follow his
footsteps.
I afraid that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi will not agree
with him. The whole Malaysia has only one health minister. If he is timid and
slow, who is going to promote health services? The people would also say they
want a clever minister with no girlfriends instead of a lazy and timid health
minister.
Chua said: “Many people have girlfriends… It is alright as long as they have not
been caught.”
Many married men feel fortunate after they hearing that. They think: Chua is
right. We all have girlfriends, so we must be careful next time. We must change
hotel and location frequently. It is safer then.
Is this the encouragement Chua gives to men? I am afraid that Malaysian women
would be having sleepless at night.
Actually, Chua can say more positive words. He can announce Chua's Declaration
in front of all the Malaysians:
“I Chua, should not have girlfriend. I should not go to hotel and have sex with
her. I'm wrong and I repent now. In the future, even nobody is following me,
even there are no pinhole cameras, I won't go to hotels anymore.”
“I want to return to my family. I swear that I will love my wife only for the
rest of my life. I will be faithful. I hope all the Malaysian men will learn
from my mistake and loyal to your own family forever.”
I bet that once Chua said this statement, all the unfaithful men will stop their
attitude for at least six months. The women will give thanks to Chua and treat
him as women's saviour.
The Kuala Lumpur Thean Hou Temple marriage registration department would then
prepare each registered couple with a “Chua's Declaration” and put it together
with their marriage certificate so that they will remember it forever.
