The Young Lawyers Convention 2011 will witness a treasure hunt organised with the objective of building team spirit and installing rapport amongst delegates. The treasure hunt will be a break from the tradition of the Young Lawyers Convention, usually a fairly serious event that features debates and dialogues.
The debates and dialogues will go on, but this time around, the Young Lawyers Convention will take a breather in the late afternoon of Day 2 to make way for a treasure hunt on the scenic and relaxing grounds of Everly Beach Resort, Malacca.
Delegates will be informed of their respective teams when they check into Everly Beach Resort, Malacca on 1 July 2011. During the treasure hunt, delegates will be asked to either look for clues and answers around the resort and the annexed beach, or perform tasks ala “The Amazing Race”.
Hence, it will be crucial for delegates to keep their eyes and ears open, in addition to keeping a look out at the surroundings of the resort!
Led by our Chief Hunter, Yeoh Tung Seng, and supported by Shobana and members of the Malacca Bar Young Lawyers Committee, the treasure hunt promises to not only build camaraderie and strengthen ties, but also provide an opportunity for delegates to relax and have fun.
