The Young Lawyers’ Convention is just 2 days away!
Wednesday, 16 January 2008 01:21pm
What is it with the new breed of young lawyers anyway? First they decided to
walk from the Palace of Justice to the Prime Minister’s office to hand over some
memorandum. Then some of them got arrested during the Festival of Rights. And
then someone makes a big fuss about them attending gathering organized by
NGOs...
Meanwhile, other young lawyers have signed up for the 3rd Young Lawyers
Convention. You’ve read it on the Bar’s website, seen the posters at the
secretariat, read the circulars, blogs and joined the facebook group, now check
out what the hype is all about.
To be held from 18-20 January in Penang, the Convention is just two days away!
And you know what, we have reached 150 in participation! Is that not a
justification that this is the event of the year?!
For those who are still unsure, what are you waiting for? Last minutes
registrations are still welcome, grab a pen, fill up the form and sign up!
Rumour has it, where there are young lawyers, there are riots...
For more information on the 3rd Young Lawyers Convention, please contact

See you all in Penang!

Yes, I will be there.
I have waited for this event since a long time ago.
Actually I waited since 2005.. the last time it was held in Pangkor Island.
I propose this to be an annual event instead of 2-3 years once.
Seira, look out for me there!
