Saturday Nite Fever at the Young Lawyers Convention

The Young Lawyers Convention is coming soon at Penang from 18th to 20th January
2008. Didn’t you know that?
The sessions planned for the Convention are serious and expected to be intense.
There will be sessions on Friday as you arrive at the Convention’s Hotel at
Penang. This will continue till Saturday the following day.
Prominent Speaker and Moderators including the University of Malaya’s Assoc Prof
Azmi Sharom and our very own Amer Hamzah; will be present at the Convention.
Topics are designed in the spirit of exploring the future of younger lawyers in
Malaysia. Where are we heading? Where should we be heading?
The Convention sounds Serious indeed!
The Organising Committee has lined up a Saturday evening “rest & relax” sessions
too. An excursion to the legendary Penang beach strip, The Gurney Drive is
already planned, where the delegates can munch on the equally legendary food
there or stroll along the esplanade.
Alternatively lawyers can dance the night away at nearby Clubs. After all, 2
days of talk, talk, talk; should whet the appetite of the delegates to “let
loose” and enjoy the cool evening of Penang.
So, what are you waiting for? Sign up to attend the Convention, where serious
issues are first discussed, and then we can all let our hair down.
