The Solomon Island Bar Association (SIBA) sought assistance from the international legal fraternity, and the National Young Lawyers Committee launched the Bar’s SI Earthquake & Tsunami Fund. An appeal was sent to all members by Circular 82/07 dated April 9, 2007. After a donation drive for more than a month, a total sum of RM12,770.00 was collected from members. The funds have been transferred to SIBA’s account. We understand that all donations would be made available to the Red Cross or other relief agencies in order to obtain water tanks, medical supplies and other much needed items for the affected areas. Thank you to all members who generously contributed to this cause! Set as favourite Share Email This Comments (0)
