A Christmas let-down from MAS PDF Print E-mail

Malaysia Airlines seems to be having a problem administering its website.

It was having a promotion so I took advantage of the opportunity - or at least I tried to.

Over Christmas when I was in Kuala Lumpur for three days, I wanted to book two seats for myself and my wife on Feb 23 from Melbourne to Kuala Lumpur  for the one-way fare of A$289 (RM867).

Each time,  I received the message that the request could not proceed as my session with the MAS website had been inactivated for security reasons because of inactivity. This was simply not true as I was clicking away on the website.

Having just returned to Melbourne on Dec 26, I  tried the website again but the same message still popped up.

Several of my friends have complained that they could not book the cheap Internet fares MAS had advertised as well.

I have taken the liberty of highlighting the matter in the media as I am sure they will be as interested as I am with MAS' reply.
