KLANG: DAP central committee member and Selangor State Assembly Speaker Teng
Chang Khim says he is “too small” for his comments to be dignified by party
chairman Karpal Singh.
“He is an almighty in the party, I’m only a small fry. Would I even dare to
assume that he would dignify my comments?” asked Teng.
“He is right in saying that he will not dignify my comments,” he added.
Yesterday, DAP chairman and Bukit Gelugor MP Karpal Singh was quoted as saying
that he would not dignify comments made by Teng that he (Karpal Singh) lacked
political wisdom in issues involving the royalty.
On being condemned by party leaders for criticising Karpal Singh and failing to
turn up at an emergency meeting on Monday night to explain himself, Teng said an
emergency meeting was meant to address particular agendas unlike a normal
meeting.
“I was not sure what was discussed in the meeting or whether it was about Karpal
Singh.”
Teng said he could not attend the meeting because he had to attend two functions
in Klang.
In another development, newly sworn-in Kota Alam state assemblyman M. Manoharan
missed his chance to voice a question in the state assembly this month.
Teng said this was because Manoharan was not sworn in before the April 28
deadline for assemblymen to submit their questions to the House.

Looks like Teng is going to get into "trouble" with the party leadership especially with Karpal-Lims & Co. I guess his future in the party is at stake. I am sure he knows better.
This is DAP leadership, "fighting" for democracy, but no democracy within the party itself. More dictatorial than any other party in Malaysia. Just study its history, and you'll understand it.
