IPOH, THURS: THE Perak DAP headquarters in Ipoh town was hit by Molotov cocktails, causing two loud explosions, early this morning.

The 2:20am incident was reported to the police by a security guard, Ammeri Ahmad, 45, who was on duty at a nearby school. No injury was reported. However, two windows of the premises were badly damaged.

When asked by Bernama, Ammeri said he saw two men threw something at the windows on the upper floor of the building and two explosions was heard later. He added that when he approached the premises, the two men sped off on a motorcycle.

Perak DAP chairman Datuk Ngeh Koo Ham, who visited the premises this morning, said he suspected the attack was politically motivated and expressed hope that the police would conduct an investigation immediately.
