JOHOR BARU: MCA is not banning mobile phones during the party elections but delegates must seals their phones in an envelope before they cast their votes, said MCA Youth secretary-general Dr Wee Ka Siong.

The Deputy Education Minister, who said this would be fair to all, added: “This will

also ensure that when you cast your vote,

no one can ask you to show proof of your vote.”

It was alleged that some voters took photographs of their marked ballots papers to demand money from the candidates they voted for.
