KUALA LUMPUR: Hindu Rights Action Front chairman P. Waythamoorthy’s daughter celebrated her sixth birthday at Parliament House.

W. Vwaishhnnavi blew the candles on her birthday cake at the Parliament lobby Wednesday together with some 30 Hindraf supporters and MPs like Opposition Leader Datin Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail and N. Gobalakrishnan.

They also unfurled banners calling for the repeal of the Internal Security Act.

Some of the MPs were also given roses which the supporters had brought along with them.

Meanwhile, Hindraf coordinator S. Jayathas insisted that Waythamoorthy’s passport had been revoked, adding that what Home Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar had said was not true.

Syed Hamid had earlier said there was no truth to claims by Amnesty International that the Government had revoked Waythamoorthy’s passport.
