ALOR STAR: Datuk Seri Najib Razak said the Pas-led state government should be realistic in balancing the interests of house buyers and developers.

He said the 50 per cent Bumiputera quota imposed on housing developers in Kedah recently should not be a burden. "It should be balanced and realistic with housing developers and if they are not allowed to dispose of their unsold units in the open market, it would cause a lot of problems for them," he said here yesterday.

The deputy prime minister, who was accompanied by his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, was here to launch the Malaysian Chinese Festival.

Najib said the restrictions on developers could adversely affect the housing sector.

A Party's Silly Act

Let the PAS voters vote for DAP OR PKR, i.e. the other component parties of the PR instead of PAS which cares more for themselves than for their voters' welfare!

PAS is totally indifferent towards the needs of the people; and the advancement of the State. In fact, the PAS officials are 'ill-learned' regarding the state of the State's economy.
