Intellectual Property: Industrial Design, Patent, Trade Mark and Copyright (29 Oct 2010)

On Friday, 29 Oct 2010, the Penang Bar Committee and the Bar Council Intellectual Property Committee co-organised a talk titled “Intellectual Property: Industrial Design, Patent, Trade Mark and Copyright”, which was held at the Bayview Georgetown Hotel from 2:30 to 6:30 pm.
Gerald Samuel shared his knowledge on industrial design and patent while Brian Law spoke on trade mark and copyright. The organisers received positive feedback on the event, which was attended by 37 participants, consisting Members of the Bar as well as representatives from institutions of higher learning and multinational corporations.
The Penang Bar looks forward to organising more such activities with Bar Council in the future.
