I had the opportunity of doing a matter with Mr. Kalimuthu once and it was truly a pleasant and enjoyable experience. He was always known for his friendliness and down to earth nature and it is safe to say that his presence at the Penang Bar will be deeply missed.
Rest in peace my friend.

GOODBYE, MY FRIEND written by Stephen Tan Ban Cheng,
Wednesday, April 30 2008 12:57 pm
Penang lawyers who know the late Kalimuthu have lost a good and honest practitioner who was always jovial and cheerful.
The late Kalimuthu was a low-profile lawyer who is known to go to great lengths to help his fellow practitioners and friends. In the grand tradition of this ethical professiuon, Kalimuthu was always generous in providing precedents.
Kalimuthu leaves behind his wife, as well as a son and a daughter, both in their twenties.
May the Lord grant my good and earnest friend eternal rest.
Stephen Tan Ban Cheng
