KUALA LUMPUR, Fri: Lawyer Vinod Roshan Nathan passed away
suddenly on Wednesday, March 12. He was 33.
Vinod was born in Kuantan on July 13, 1974. He was the only
son of the late KKP Nanthan of Seremban. He had his early education at Sekolah
Rendah St Paul and secondary education at SM St. Paul.
Somewhere around 1992, he pursued legal studies at University of Newcastle Upon
Tyne in England and graduated in 1996. He was then called to the Honourable
Society of Lincoln's Inn in 1997 and then to the Malaysian Bar the year after.
Vinod had the privilege to undergo pupillage under his father. However, his
father passed away on December 7,.2002, leaving Vinod to manage the firm alone .
The Malaysian Bar extends our heartfelt condolences to his
loved ones.

He was a good friend and a worthy opponent in court. He had abundance sense of humour. His voice was unmistakenly a man with style and character and his laughter was so infectious.
We was supposed to have a long lunch together on last friday to catch up and for a work discussion but unfortunately, the lunch didn't materialised.
The news of his passing came as a shock and I attended his funeral and it felt so surreal even until I saw the casket with him inside. He looked so at peace and handsome. I lost a dear friend who never fail to offer any assistance required and always be there for his friends.
May you rest in peace, mate with the heaven awaits you. It was an absolute privillege to have known you, my dear friend.
