Obituary: Md Ali Bin Zaitun @ Ihsan (9 Nov 1956 to 1 Mar 2010)
Contributed by the staff of Ali Zaitun & Baharudin
Tuan Haji Md Ali bin Zaitun @ Ihsan, senior partner of Ali Zaitun & Baharudin, passed away on 1 Mar 2010.
He graduated from University of London and was admitted to the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple in 1987. He was called to the Malaysian Bar on 17 Nov 1988.
He first set up his practice under the name and style of Ali Zaitun & Co, then continued under Ali Zaitun & Sallehrahman Tendot. On 1 July 1997, upon the dissolution of the firm, he continued his practice under the name and style of Ali Zaitun & Baharudin, where he practised until his demise.
He was a humble person and it was not difficult for everyone to regard him as a friend. He was considerate, understanding, sensitive and caring and always kept his staff’s welfare at heart.
He spent his time to follow up with every lawyer and kept himself updated on the work in the firm as well as his business.
His demise was a shock to all of us – family, staff, associates, clients, relatives and friends. To his family members, we extend our deepest condolences and we will do our best to continue his legacy in this firm.
May he rest in peace. We will always remember him with great fondness.
