Farewell to my learned brother and friend Yap Wai Kit

My learned brother and a personal friend Yap Wai Kit passed away on 26 July 2011 leaving behind his loving wife Angie and six year old son Kieran. Wai Kit was a knowledgeable, thinking and compassionate man. Always ready and willing to help his friends. Always game for a good time out with his friends. His happiest moments, I was told, was the time we shared in Turnpike Lane … the wonder years! I was indeed privileged and honoured to be his friend. Rest in peace my friend, till we meet again.
This life has now passed away
They are with the Lord today
Enjoying a better life anew
Their memory shall we carry through
Until we again rendezvous
(Psalm 23: 1-6, Eccl 12: 7,1Cor 15: 42-55)
The funeral service will be held today at his home, at No 60, Jalan Makmur, Taman Desa, Jalan Kelang Lama, Kuala Lumpur. Cortege will leave his home tomorrow morning at 10:00 am.

Thanks for all the kindness and generosity of spirit you extended to me during your life. I will cherish all the golden memories of our CLP struggles together and fellowship as members of the Bar and buddies forever. Rest in Peace my dearest friend. From G Nanda Goban
