©My SinChew (Used by permission) This is definitely more than just Rashomon. Ong Tee Keat and Tiong King Sing have fought all the way to the Gate of Hades! With that, Kuala Dimensi has come to light, and its boss Tiong King Sing is brought out of the dark.
Tiong must now explain the financial blackhole to the authorities, and could face further legal inquisitions. Of course, the public are very keen to pursue how the money which should have belonged to the nation and people has ended up in smoke. Tiong is now being curbed and might not be able to free himself. That said, he is obviously not going to surrender just that. While he still could, he is going to launch a turnaround fight. His target is Ong Tee Keat. He has accused Tee Keat of accepting RM10 million of donation from him for use as MCA's activity fund, and for taking unpaid rides on his company jet on five different occasions! As a matter of fact, whether the RM10 million offering has been accepted or whether Tee Keat has taken free rides on Tiong's corporate jet hardly have anything to do with PKFZ. "Once a hand is put into this blackhole, he must be psychologically prepared to pay a hefty political price." And Tiong is not going to emancipate himself from his responsibilities in the PKFZ fiasco with that. Tee Keat said Tiong had tried to divert public attention. But Tiong's intent should not be confined to just that. Indeed, Tiong has drawn out these two weapons of truly powerful destruction. Tee Keat is facing probably the biggest question in his political life: Is the RM10 million offering real? If it is, where is it now? In addition, did a Cabinet minister really fly on a jet belonging to a private company? If so, what have been his reasons or motives? These two blows from Tiong are indeed very powerful. If Tee Keat cannot escape the blows, the consequences could be unthinkable, and his political future in tatters. Other than Tee Keat and Tiong, a host of other dignitaries have also been implicated in this matter. Attorney-General Abdul Ghani has said the endorsement letters issued by two former transport ministers Ling Liong Sik and Chan Kong Choy during their respective tenures have helped Kuala Dimensi secure the loans. As a judicial representative of the Malaysian government, Abdul Ghani should have been very prudent in selecting his words. Now that he has said it, the government's stand is clear now. To be frank, if not for Tee Keat's insistence to investigate, this PKFZ blackhole will very likely remain pitch dark for a very long time to come, and no light will ever fall on it. Once a hand is put into this blackhole, he must be psychologically prepared to pay a hefty political price. However, if Tee Keat can prove his innocence, he will still be able to wash his hands clean in this matter, and the PKFZ issue could as well launch him into yet another milestone in his political career.
