It has come to the attention of the Bar Council that several business owners, lawyers, accountants and auditors have been approached by certain individuals on the pretext of buying over businesses or seeking advise on joint venture agreements persuading them to issue cheques
Members are advised to exercise caution if you should be approached by such individuals and to notify the Bar Council at council@malaysianbar.org.my or to lodge a report with the Commercial Crimes Division at Bukit Aman. Thank you. George Varughese Secretary Dated: 24 March 2009 |
