Notice: Contempt of Court (Annamala a/p N Thananayagam, A/437)

On 13 April 2007, Bar Council initiated contempt proceedings against Annamala a/p N Thananayagam for breach of an injunction order arising from her practising without a valid Practising Certificate. On 7 May 2009, High Court ordered that she be imprisoned for a period of six months.
Annamala a/p N Thananayagam was also struck off the Roll of advocates and solicitors by an order of the Advocates and Solicitors Disciplinary Board dated 13 Feb 2009.
