1. Mr. Batu Malay a/l Thandy (Serial No. B/071)
    DC/09/4807

By ASDB Order dated 29 January 2011 the Respondent of No. 5, Jalan Akuatik 13/77D, Taman D’Kayangan, Seksyen 13, 40000 Shah Alam, Selangor was fined RM5,000.00 for arranging “friendly loans” to the Complainants (his client) by third parties and for setting off money he was holding in trust for the Complainant without the consent of his client.

2. En. Idris Bin Zaidel (Serial No. I/075)
    DB/10/5746/SA

By ASDB Order dated 29 January 2011 the Respondent of No. 28, Jalan SS1/37, Kmapung Tunku, 47300 Petaling Jaya, Selangor was fined RM500.00 for practising without a valid Practising Certificate from 1 January 2010 to 10 February 2010.

3. Cik. Suhaidar Binti Mohd Nawawi (Serial No. S/1256)
    DB/10/05701/SA

By ASDB Order dated 29 January 2011 the Respondent of No. 28, Jalan SS1/37, Kmapung Tunku, 47300 Petaling Jaya, Selangor was fined RM500.00 for practising without a valid Practising Certificate from 1 January 2010 to 10 February 2010.

4. Mr. Vinesh a/l Satkunanathan(Serial No. V/190)
    DB/10/5659/SA

By ASDB Order dated 29 January 2011 the Respondent of No 3-276 Jalan Udang Kepai, Taman Sri Segambut, 52000 Kuala Lumpur was fined RM1,000.00 for failing to notify the Bar Council that he was not practising from 1st January 2010 to 16th August 2010 (and continuing).

5. Dato’ Krishna Kumar a/l Sivasubramaniam (Serial No. K/364)
    DC/02/0759

By ASDB Order dated 28 January 2011 the Respondent of No. 6, Jalan 5/9 46000, Petaling Jaya, Selangor was fined RM30,000.00 for conduct unbecoming of an Advocate and Solicitor in that he breached his written undertaking given to the Complainant and subsequently induced the Complainant to withdraw his complaint to the Board being issuing a cheque to the Complainant in compliance with his (the Respondent’s) undertaking but the cheque was dishonoured.
