By ASDB Order dated 11 December 2010 the Respondent of 23, Lorong Burhanuddin Helmi Satu,  Taman Tun Dr. Ismail, 60000 Kuala Lumpur was fined RM500.00 for practising without a valid Practising Certificate from 1 January 2010 to 9 February 2010 (and continuing).

By ASDB Order dated 11 December 2010 the Respondent of No. 6, Jalan 2/1M, Seksyen 2, Bangi Heights, 43650 Kuala Lumpur was fined RM500.00 for practising without a valid Practising Certificate from 1 January 2010 to 8 February 2010 (and continuing).

By ASDB Order dated 11 December 2010 the Respondent of No. 156A Taman Sentosa, 27600 Raub, Pahang was, after taking into account the mitigating factors, fined RM500.00 for practising without a valid Practising Certificate from 1 January 2010 to 1 March 2010.

By ASDB Order dated 11 December 2010 the Respondent of PT 11718, Jalan BBN/26E, Desa Cempaka, Bandar Baru Nilai 71800 Nilai, Negeri Sembilan was. In view of the mitigating factors, fined RM1,000.00 for practising without a valid Practising Certificate from 1 January 2010 to 26 April 2010.

By ASDB Order dated 11 December 2010 the Respondent of No. 108, Medan Lim Cheng Teik, 10250 Penang was fined RM2,000.00 for acting in breach of the rule of etiquette by failing to conduct with candor, courtesy and fairness by backdating a letter to justify late payment to the Complainant, in breach of a Court Order.

By ASDB Order dated 11 December 2010 the Respondent of Lot 2789, Jalan Seri Penchala 1, Sg. Penchala 60000 Kuala Lumpur was, after taking into account the mitigating factors, fined RM500.00 for practising without a valid Practising Certificate from 1 January 2010 to 21 February 2010 (and continuing).

By ASDB Order dated 10 December 2010 the Respondent of No. 26, Jalan Galena 7/24, Seksyen 7, 40000 Shah Alam, Selangor was fined RM2,000.00 for acting in gross disregard of her client’s interest in that she delayed in refunding fees collected for work not done as the Respondent’s firm thereafter.

By ASDB Order dated 11 December 2010 the Respondent of No. 620, Lorong Lobak 15, Taman Lobak Indah, 09600, Lunas, Kedah was fined RM5,000.00 for gross disregard of his client’s interest in a Sale and Purchase (SPA) transaction in that he delayed in submitting loan documents to the financier resulting in delay in the payment of the purchase price and thereby causing financial loss to the Complainant due to the termination of the SPA.

By ASDB Order dated 11 December 2010 the Respondent of No.2, Lorong Pandan Damai 2/12, Taman Tas, 25150 Kuantan, Pahang was fined RM1,000.00 for practising without a valid Practising Certificate from 1 January 2010 to 21 February 2010 .

 

By ASDB Order dated 11 December 2010 the Respondent of No. 1, Jalan Raja Abdullah, Section 9/19B, 40000 Shah Alam, Selangor was, in view of the mitigating factors, was fined RM500.00 for practising without a valid Practising Certificate from 1 January 2010 to 9 February 2010.

By ASDB Order dated 10 December 2010 the Respondent of No. 22, Jalan SB Indah 3/7, Taman Sg.Besi Indah, 43300 Seri Kembangan, Selangor was, in view of the mitigating factors,  was fined RM1,000.00 for conduct unbefitting of an Advocate and Solicitor and breach of Ruling the Bar Council Rules and Ruling 14.01 (2) of the Bar Council Rules and Rulings in that he failed to respond to his client’s and his client’s new Solicitors’ letters requesting for updates of the suit handled by the Respondent for the Complainant.

By ASDB Order dated 11 December 2010 the Respondent of No. 65, Jalan Ehsan 2, Taman Ehsan, Fasa III, Off Jalan Pancang Bedena, 45300 Sungai Besar, Selangor was struck off the Roll of Advocates and Solicitors and ordered him to refund the sum of RM291,000.00 to the Complainant in that he failed to pay to the Complainant and had misappropriated RM291,000.00 being the balance purchase price of 3 properties that he received as stakeholder.
