Next Saturday, on April 2, the Rock 4 Rights music festival and carnival makes its debut at Fort Conrwallis, Penang from noon to midnight.
The fest is organised by the Bar Council Constitutional Law Comittee (BCCLC) in partnership with Frinjan (a loose collective of cultural arts enthusiasts) and Saya Anak Bangsa Malaysia (SABM).
A total of 15 bands are set to perform including the likes of Bittersweet, Car Crash Hearts, Couple, Project Ei8ht, The Maharajah Commission, Azmyl Yunor and Amirah Ali among many others.
Besides music performances, revellers will also be treated to film screenings, performance arts, a flea market offering handicraft, memorabilia, fashion apparel, concert merchandise as well as a variety of food and beverage stalls.
And if you're an unregistered voter, here's your chance to do so as voter registrations booths will be available as well.
But the best thing about the Rock 4 Rights fest is that admission is free and is open to the public.
