2011/2012 Constitutional Law Committee Interim Report

Syahredzan b Johan took the helm as Chairperson of the Bar Council Constitutional Law Committee (“BCConstiLC”), supported by Joanne Leong Pooi Yaen and Firdaus bt Husni as Co-Deputy Chairpersons. BCConstiLC held its first meeting for the 2011/2012 term on 5 May 2011.

To date, BCConstiLC’s open membership has welcomed 235 members from all backgrounds. The numbers are expected to grow as BCConstiLC carries out its activities throughout the term.

Below are the activities which were carried out during the months of April to mid-October 2011. The list included events planned and organised by BCConstiLC as well as those undertaken as part of its initiative under the MyConstitution Campaign.
