Thank You Roger - 2008/12/01 19:42 Dearest Roger,
Mere "Thank you"s are hardly enough words to make up for your invaluable time as Webmaster.

I am sure that it has pleasured you greatly to see that your baby has grown into a wonderful gigantic success and a big HIT.

Having not enough time, I dont read any more newspaper as I had been depending greatly on just reading those you had carefully selected here every morning. So reading this website has indeed benefited me greatly in more ways than one. I hope that your predecessor(s) would be able to keep up with the way you had been single handedly handling.

Just imagine, for todays posting alone. Stephen couldnt thank you enough that he submitted 3 same postings. Tsk Tsk. You would have resolved that issue immediately.

But anyway, heres wishing that you never retired!
Your numero uno fan

Re:Thank You Roger - 2008/12/01 23:01 My dear Nik Elin

I am operating from my lap top and so am not so familiar with the keyboard.

Yes, I did send my thanks to our Roger Tan thrice, but that is because my computer said the message was not yet sent.

You are so right about Roger being able to resolve the problem instantaneously.

This is the first day for the IT trio and for Chee Wee and the three top Secretariat at working this website that Roger has created and donated to the Malaysian Bar.
So we can expect some teething problems.

Three stories have not been put on the website: Karpal calling the Bar to resign and Ambiga's response (this involves the Malaysian Bar directly), Mukhriz's call for the closure of vernacular schools, and the latest on the Soi Lek front.

This is what I mean by copy tasting or news selection. Anyway, it is still early days. Let us see what happens from now.

Thanks again, Roger; I guess "thanks" is just not enough.

Re:Thank You Roger Tan - 2008/12/02 11:36 Dear Roger Tan,

You created a world-class information hub, called the Malaysian Bar website. This web page has been and will always be under the 'Favourite' link of my yahoo! site.

Good job.

Re:Thank You Roger - 2008/12/02 11:48 Roger,

As a daily user of the MB Website all this while, I think you have done a tremendous job. I doubt the loss of you as webmaster will hit us until we go by a few days without you, although I'm sure the new team will do their best.

The MB Website has been my one-stop centre for news for me and friends (yes, I mentioned how I get my news to a few non-lawyers and some of them have made it their homepage even) and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your selfless efforts!

Best wishes,

Tina

Re:Thank You Roger Tan - 2008/12/02 16:53 Dear Roger,

What a wonderful job you've done for the Bar.
Your great and tireless effort, patience and invaluable contributions have benefited all of us. No word can describe my gratitude (and I'm sure that of the other fellow members) for all the latest news and information accessible via our website.

Thank you very much and may God bless you.
