 Online Malaysian Laws for Free - 2008/05/21 12:59 Ignorance of law is no excuse. Every Malaysian is deemed to know Malaysian laws. Do Malaysians have free access to Malaysian laws? No. We have to pay to know the laws.

To my mind, laws shall be made accessible to every Malaysian free of charge. The government can acquire the website owned by Percetakan Nasional Malaysia Berhad (PNM known as LAWNET.COM.MY and make it accessible free of charge. This can be done through annual allocation of a grant to PNMB for PNMB to maintain and update the website. This will benefit not only lawyers but members of the public as well.

This is just a suggestion.

 Re:Online Malaysian Laws for Free - 2008/05/23 17:58 I fully agree with this suggestion but the laws must be updated. I frequently need to refer to legislations and it is frustating to fing the legislation and if you do it is not updated
