Now, lawyer M. Puravalen called by Police.. - 2008/07/18 11:12
Another lawyer being called in by the police - another harrassment of lawyer.
Interestingly, M. Puravalen was also Mr N. Surendran's lawyer, when he was called in for questioning last Saturday regarding investigation into P. Balasubramaniam's SDs.
N. Surendran was the lawyer of the nephew of the said Private Investigator, who came out and made a report when he discovered that Balasubramaniam had mysteriously went missing after that 2nd SD.
According, to reports, all that the police asked Mr Surendran were matters covered by solicitor-client privilege.
Our President, Ambiga, thankfully was there in solidarity with Mr Surendran when he went to the police station...
Now, from Valen has been called to go in on Friday (today?) at 10.00am.
Time for all this to stop....

KUALA LUMPUR, July 18 (Malaysian Insider) — Former KL Bar chief M. Puravalen, who was Abdul Razak Baginda's first lawyer in the Altantuya Shaariibuu murder case, has been called in for questioning by the police in connection with private investigator P. Balasubramaniam's explosive sworn statements on the slaying.
The questioning is part of police investigations into the private investigator's allegations in the sworn statement that Abdul Razak told him that Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak knew Altantuya and was intimate with her.
