KLBC Forum on 10th April 2007 - 2007/04/05 13:21
Dear members of the Bar
KL Bar is organising a Forum with members to attain your feedback on these new proposed changes to litigation practise, as mentioned below:-
a. A new method of litigating Personal Injury cases, wherein it is now imperetive for solicitors to, inter alia, have all documents ready before proceeding to file a suit. It's actually much more in depth than that, and what i just stated is merely the tip of the ice berg. Pls see full comments in the link below.
b. A proposal that some Interlocutory Hearings be heard before the HC Judge and no more SAR/TP, in High Court Matters.

These proposals emanated from the Courts and the CJSS has personally met some KLBC members to discuss this matter a week ago. The KLBC felt it is imperative we seek out members views before we take the next course of action.
The forum :-
Date : 10th April 2007 Day : Tuesday Time : 6pm Location : KL Bar Auditorium at 10th floor of Wisma Kraftangan
Pls attend!!
Thanks
