Image of Bar Council - 2011/06/29 09:20Lately the image of the Bar Council has been affected by some politician with personal agenda. The Bar Council has to take firm and affirmative action against such person. Politician such as Ibrahim Ali should refrain from making unwanted remark against the Bar Council. It is high time we take action against those who tarnish or give the BC a bad name.

Re:Image of Bar Council - 2012/05/16 15:36More should be understood on what is integrity and respect for the roles taken by lawyers.
Not that there are many 'hats' to be worn, but if image is the description to be used, then, roles taken by lawyers are even more important.
Don't forget, the father of independence was a lawyer and without whom, little can be achieved.
So, image and roles taken as lawyers sum up the whole reason for the presence and sustenance of the profession as a whole.
