Bar Chess Group - 2007/01/15 19:18
I'm starting this thread for those who are in the Bar Chess Group and for those who want to join. Our mission is simple - to beat Singapore at the Bench and Bar Games. I am, for my sins, the Chess Convenor for the Malaysian Bar.
Along the way, we hope to hold the Dato' Mahadev Shankar Chess Competition sometime in February. For those of you who don't play chess, please don't bother looking at the trophy, as it will only make you envious. For those of you who do, remember that performance in the Competition is an important yardstick when it comes to selection for the Bench and Bar Games.
