"Joint Custody?"
Tak faham la.
DOes that mean the children can choose with whom they wish to spend the day with?
Never done that before but it sounds cool.
I can just imagine the ayah dan mak tarik-tarik the anak and see who gets what... maybe the mak gets the tangan and dad gets the kaki... eewww...
On a serious note Gek Im, I know that ur intentions are noble but please do not try to do anything the Law Reform (Marriage and Divorce) Act does not provide for.
Malaysia does not recognise a "Joint Custody". Only in certain states in the USA that this is recognised and in their prayers, they have to specify whether they want a "Joint Physical Custody" or a "joint Legal Custody".
Pean Khoon, I think that the Judge in your case did not realise he had granted a "Joint Custody" Order in your case, if he had realised, he would not have granted anything not stated in the Law Reform (Marriage and Divorce) Act.
Aiyahhhh... saya tak suka divorce la... remember pean khoon and GEk Im... if your clients have kids, try to reconcile them back together. If no kids, then they wanna divorce or do what s**t let them do.
Bottom line: Children are the biggest victims in divorce cases. Kesian la... If they both dun want the anak, give me! I will give to Edmund Bon and he can nurture them to be another activist.
