Unlike previous years, it would seem that our talent pool is running on low...Where are the Maradonas, Zidanes, Gerrards, Rooneys, Ronaldinhos & Shevchenkos (ok lah...must have a Chelsea rep..) of the BAR? Must we still rely on the old Cafus, Maldinis and Sheringhams?

Dare we drop into the depths of the yesteryears when the Fandi Ahmads, Allapitchays, Kannans, Pathamanathans,David Lees and Alam Shahs of the Singapore Law Society steam roll past us?

Show up, show your skills and proudly play with the Malaysian Bar CREST on your chest. We provide you with the opportunity to showcase your skills on the international stage...we are in the midst of building a team to wrest the Lawyers World Cup 2008 from the spaghetti eating lasagna making Italian lawyers from Rome, STARTING FROM NOW.

Lets continue to bedazzle, amaze and leave the Singaporeans in complete and utter disarray and bewilderment like we have done for a major part of the 21st Century...Join us, THE PREMIER MALAYSIAN BAR FOOTBALL TEAM.

Next Session : 23.3.2007 9.00pm
Venue : ASTRODOME SUMMIT USJ

The team has yet to be finalised. If you are worried about the costs and expenses, DONT BE! The Bar fully subsidises the pupils and 1st years for the Singapore Bar Games.

Oi Dipen, no need to re-live the glory days lah... and how can they be "all conquering" when they never won the "real" treble??

We want you! - 2007/03/21 14:18 the malaysian scouser in me would take offence to that so-called real treble jibe, all I have to say is 18 and 5...BUT I have to remain neutral in this matter...SO, all members and pupils are invited, irrespective of your loyalty to whichever club.

Just to remind all of you, the pitch at Astrodome is an artificial turf. Please bring your normal football boots for proper grip.

Where-field? I didn't know that the giants of North London football had expanded their dominance of late. And nor do they, it seems: www.etfc.co.uk

And to think that some people who sit not a million miles from myself claim to be fans of Liverpool FC - who will now presumably have to change that sign over the players' tunnel.

ps G, I know it would have simpler to walk to your room and let you know, or simply shout out from where I'm sitting, but it ain't half so much fun, and this poor little WHUFC fan needs all the fun he can get.
