crowd control with sufficient restraint of force - 2011/07/18 09:48 CROWD CONTROL WITH SUFFICIENT RESTRAINT OF FORCE is unavoidable if peace is to be restored without further aggravation.

The authorities are very experienced and no expert will deny the relevance of exercising restraint when a crowd of people become unruly.

In my opinion, education and more education should be instilled in the hearts and minds of people so that they will not repeat what had happened, especially when young children and school children are also found in the midst of such crowd.

This is unhealthy and pose a serious thought of the level of education and whether more serious thoughts and attention be garnered towards educating the people at large. The innocent children should never have been made to look like they are trapped as 'scapegoats' in a situation that is not theirs to whom they don't belong at the onset.

The priority therefore, should be to set the limitations on press freedom and abuse of false reporting that will only incite more unnecessary disturbances that will more likely be counterproductive in any given situation.

Children should be taught and educated in a conducive environment that is fit and proper for them to be brought up to be good, understanding and loving people of this country, not as future trouble-makers.

The country and the authorities owe a greater sense of care and responsibilities which will set a good example to explain to young people and children alike why they have to be responsible if they wish for a free and harmonious electoral process that is fair and equal to all in this country.
