KL Bar Badminton Carnival - 2009/04/12 23:35Dear members,
KL Bar will be organizing a Badminton Carnival on 18th April 2009. Relevant info:- Date : 18th April 2009 Day : Saturday Time : 830am to 11am Location : Kuala Lumpur Badminton Association Stadium at Cheras (off Jalan Loke Yew)
Entree fee : RM20-00 per entry.
Events to be held:- 1. Men's Single 2. Ladies' Single 3. Men's Doubles 4. Ladies' Doubles
Each event would require at least 3 entree. If we fail to receive the required no, we will not hold that event and refund the entree fee.
Basic Format:- 1. Should there be more than 4 entrees of each event, a knockout competition will be held. 2. If less than 4, but only 3 players in an event, a round-robin will be held.
Basic rules :- 1. ALL standard IBF rules will apply, but due to time constraint, all games will be over ONE set only, of 25 points. 2. All players must be a lawyer, holding a valid Practicing Certificate, based anywhere in Peninsular Malaysia.
All entrance must be confirmed (with the payment fee) to KL Bar on or before 3pm 17th April 2009. Please make payment at KL Bar secretariat. Cash payment only.

KL Bar do reserve the rights to change the format or modify the rules to fit the number of participants. (for example, if we have many players above 35 years of age, we will hold a veteran event instead of the current open event.)
