Good work, Young Lawyers! - 2007/10/05 10:45As a very junior member of the Bar, recently I made a comment that there was no necessity to form Young Lawyers Committee.
However, after getting 'involved' in the Bar forum and 'in touch' with Bar activities, I realise that I need to retract my aforesaid comment.
I find that the young lawyers are doing a lot for the Bar. They are really an enthusiastic group! Keep it up, young men!
I also realise that 'young lawyers' is not synonymous to 'junior lawyers'!

Good on you and I thank you for your comments
Perhaps, if I can suggest that you join the Perak Bar YLC. Look for Kenny Lai or Cik Dara Waheeda, both young lawyers of great calibre and distinction.
Many thanks Dipendra

Re:Good work, Young Lawyers! - 2007/10/05 13:39Thanks Ding.
Hope you can join more activities organised by young lawyers.
young lawyers of course do not necessarily mean those fresh grad lawyers but all lawyers below 7 years in practice and the age of 40. However, i personally believe that what's important is that the lawyer must be young at heart.
Thank you again,

Re:Good work, Young Lawyers! - 2007/10/05 16:05Mr. Ding,
Hello again... It was good to meet you at the law awareness week at Manjung. Thanks for participating in the event! As I've said before then, one has to participate in the activities of the bar in order to appreciate and reap its rewards (never monetary of course). So welcome and we hope to see more of you in upcoming events. Please contact me should (when) you want to set up a Manjung branch of the Perak YLC in order to keep the Manjung/Sitiawan YL's in touch!
