Another Record in the Making Today! - 2007/10/20 06:08Sometime today, Saturday Oct 20, 2007, the Malaysian Bar website shall register its 14-millionth hits.
Since it was set up on May 14, 2005, the services the website performs have attracted well-deserved bouquets from many within the Malaysian legal fraternity.
The recording of the 14-millionth hit marks yet another milestone for the Malaysian Bar and is a tribute to the dedication of our Webmaster whose voluntary contribution has been indefatigable over the period of two years and slightly more than five months.
What is usually lost sight of is that this website has fostered and encouraged a growing group of writers from within the legal fraterrnity.
Of course, it has also served as another means of almost instantaneous communication and mobilisation for the entire Malaysian Bar comprising 13,000 lawyers.
Truth be told, had it not been for the existence of this website, the "Walk for Justice" would not have registered the record turnout that it did.
Syabas, Mr Webmaster. Now, I am going to resume my slumber.

Re:Another Record in the Making Today! - 2007/10/20 23:41My dear Siew Chin
As I write at 11.38pm this Saturday, the website has chalked up its 14,006,825th hit.
Yes, I should have mentioned Roger Tan in my dispatch, but knowing Roger he is always reticent. If I read him correctly, he prefers the anonymity of the crowd.
But you are right. This is a good occasion to name him and even blame him!!!
