Utusan first carried the report for it's 21 August 2008 edition, with the headlines 'Pemuda PAS Selangor cabar Anwar bersumpah'. This report published by the Sun is actually reported by news agency Bernama who took the story from Utusan Malaysia. The PAS Youth Leader, Mr.Sallehen Mukhyi, has never 'challenged' Mr. Anwar to swear the oath. There is a report in Sinar Harian (a Malay language daily) on what Mr. Sallehen actually said and in no way did he challenge Mr. Anwar to swear the oath. In fact, what he said was that it was up to Mr. Anwar to swear or not, it is his right and people shouldn't pressure him to do so.
