NEED FOR STRONG SIGNAL

It is good for the DAP-led State Government to apologise for the gross misconduct of one of its Assemblymen.

He has let the side down by not just copying the questions. He earlier cast blame on one of his assistants. That is an act of dishonesty.

Whatever disciplinary action the DAP is going to mete out, the party must send a singularly strong signal that its State Assemblymen and parliamentarians do not and will never subscribe to the practice of misleading the House, either at State or Federal level.

Anything less is a betrayal of the people's trust.
